The Actors Theatre Workshop is an award winning non-profit theatre located in the heart of the Chelsea Garden district. Our beautiful facility has been home to many successful theatrical events, film productions, fashion shoots and business seminars. You will feel the warmth, comfort and safety that our creative facility provides as soon as you step off the elevator! Our luxurious 65-seat theatre, with its deep stage and gorgeous proscenium arch is the ideal venue for full-scale musical productions, small intimate contemporary plays or intense heart-stopping experimental work.

ATW also offers a tasteful atmosphere for business seminars, client workshops and classes. Our 5,000 sq. foot space also includes two rehearsals rooms, a kitchen and an office. We know that you and your guests will feel more than welcome in our wonderful creative home. Added incentive: your rental dollars go directly to the Builders of The New World, ATW’s award-winning after school program for homeless children and youth-at-risk.

We have three spaces available for rent 7 days a week 10am-10pm (times can be adjusted depending upon need). We also offer special rates to non-profits, daytime renters and long-term renters.
